The Northern Coast Line 

  • Apollonia: A Phoenician city  dated  back to the 6th century BC, and a Crusader fortress and  remnants of  its horrendous destruction by the Mameluke Sultan Baibars- overlooking the peaceful Mediterranean coast.

  • Ceasarea: The ancient city built by Herod the Great in the 1st century CE as a deep-sea harbor employing the highest technology known at the time. Herod built the city in honor of the Roman emperor, Caesar Augustus, and the city hosted gladiator games in the amphitheater and theatrical productions in its theatre overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Later it served as the capital of the Byzantine province of Palaestina Prima.  The Crusaders fortified the city in the 13th century but it fell to the Mamluk armies of Sultan Baibars, who ordered his troops to scale the walls in several places simultaneously, enabling them to penetrate the city.  Ceasarea is where archeological remains and reconstruction of this marvelous ancient city combine with art and antique galleries, fine cafes and gourmet dining with as stunning view of the sea.

  • Dor Beach: Small islands and a breathtaking lagoon with crystal clear waters formed by natural rock formation. The rock erosion and natural wildlife and vegetation together form unique inlets only found in Israel.

  • The Bahá’í Gardens in Haifa: A staircase of nineteen terraces extending all the way up the northern slope of Mount Carmel. The golden-domed Shrine of the Báb, the resting place of the Prophet of the Bahá’í Faith, stands on the central terrace, looking across the bay. The unique design, combining geometrical shapes and exquisite detailing of natural and historic landscape features provide the visitor with a spiritual experience 

  • Akko: Ancient port city. Visit the underground Hospitallers Fortress, walking through the Knights Halls takes you back to the crusaders period and feel like a Knight yourself. Explore the shuk, the 18th century Ottomon walls and enjoy the culinary experience- great Mediterranean and fish cuisine . 

  • Rosh Hanikra: On the border between Israel and Lebanon, the sea meets the mountain and we find marine caves. The white chalk cliff face which opens up into spectacular grottos. The grottos were created following a series of subterranean tremors which cracked the rock. Rainwater flowing through these cracks and the gushing sea waves created this natural phenomenon which is unique to
