The Galillee

The wonderful Gallilee where tradition holds that Jesus walked on water and performed many miracles  

• Mount of Beatitudes here Jesus is believed to have delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Church of the Beatitudes is a  architectural wonder by Italian architect, Antonio Burluzzi

• Capernaum, St. Peter's Church, believed it could be the place where the house of the Apostle Peter and possibly "the first church in the world" . Church  and  Jewish synagogue archeological remains from the 4th and 5th century.

• Tabgha - Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish, commemorates one of Jesus’ main miracles  on the Galilee , feeding  5000 people from  2  fish and 5 loaves of bread. 

• Magadala: Crossroads of Jewish and Christian History Archeological remains of  a Jewish synagogue on the Galilee where  it is likely that Jesus taught the multitudes and healed the afflicted including, Mary Magdalene. Duc In Altum is a six chapel edifice  dedicated to the public life of Jesus, his transforming encounters, and honors the women of the Bible and all women of faith through its Women´s Atrium.
