March 5 Solidarity Tour to the Gaza Envelope (Otef Aza)

March 5 Solidarity Tour to the Gaza Envelope (Otef Aza)

Tour to take place on  March 5, 2026  Departs from Jerusalem and Latrun

A day of solidarity and commemoration following the October 7 atrocities. We will learn the history of events of this horrific day and pray for the return of the hostages.
The tour will include :

The Police Station at Sderot

We will visit the memorial built over the ruins of the police station and learn about the  battle between the brave outnumbered policemen and the Hamas terrorists.

Burnt Car Lot Memorial
A memorial of of over 800 burnt, bullet-riddled, or crushed vehicles evacuated from the Nova Massacre and “Blood route 232”. Through the ruins of the vehicles, we learn about those murdered and taken hostage. One of the vehicles bears testament to the heroism of Ben Shimoni Z”l. who escaped the Nova party driving 4 others to safety. He returned twice to save more and was murdered during the third rescue attempt.
Ktav VaShem Memorial, Kfar Aza
The memorial stands at the entrance to Kfar Aza, one of the communities hardest hit on October 7. At least 64 residents were murdered, and several were taken hostage as terrorists infiltrated the kibbutz for hours. The Ktav VaShem site preserves the names - in font letters identical to their handwriting- of those who lived and died here, offering visitors a factual, respectful window into the community’s loss and extraordinary resilience
Observers’ Lookout Nahal Oz
The lookout commemorates the female IDF observers of Nahal Oz, whose outpost was among the first attacked on October 7. Twelve soldiers from the Observation Company were killed, and the attack exposed severe operational failures. Despite repeated warnings from observers, critical intelligence regarding the infiltration of Hamas terrorists was dismissed, and the post was left insufficiently defended, as were the Gaza Envelope communities. Standing here gives visitors a clear understanding of the strategic role of the observers and the tragic outcome of that morning,
Nova Memorial
We will visit and bear witness to the sacred ground of remembrance of the young lives filled with hope and music at the Nova festival who were brutally murdered in the largest and most horrific terror attack in Israel’s history. The memorial commemorates each of the of the murdered souls and provides an orientation of what happened on this tragic day.
The Death Shelter in Re’im
This shelter, where 27 people sought refuge became the scene of unimaginable bravery and tragedy. Here, Aner Shapira Z”l who bravely intercepted 7 hand grenades and was murdered when the terrorists fired an RPG into the shelter. Segev Kizhner and Ayelet Arnin who recorded the events as they documented their final moments. 16 were murdered and from here, Hersh Goldberg-Polin Z’l, Alon Ohel, Eliyah Cohen Ori Levi were kidnapped

Kibbuz Nir Oz

We will meet Ran Pauker, one of the founders of the Kibbutz and its legendary landscaper. Ran will share with us the story of the establishment of the Kibbutz, how it became an ecological pearl, the October 7 atrocities  and his vision for resurrection. Ran will escort us through the Kibbutz trails. Entrance to the Kibbutz is based on availability at the Kibbutz which is not guaranteed in advance.

OR

"Garden of the 20" at Moshav Netiv Ha’asarah
Moshav Netiv Ha'asara is  on Northern tip of the Gaza border. We will learn  about the challenges on the Moshav since the disengagement of the IDF in 2005  and witnessing how close  the divider wall is between the Moshav and the Gaza Strip.
